Actually much easier to establish than I expected. Quieter than I expected ... and smoother than expected. I still do not believe that the distance function is true, but my only complaint, but I am very happy ... and my wife is happier than I am!
I actually run a lot and using the elliptical machines in many gyms in my time. I was very reluctant at this or a commercially available computer, but I am very glad I did. My wife is a cardio workout is restricted to run from the child's disorder in children x # # y mess, and so on ... now use every day and absolutely in love with him.
So if you're a beginner, I think you really love ... if there is, I know that's not what you see in the gym, but the machine is sitting at home, I do not think it would be better for the price.
Very sturdy, hand-formed love (I do not like quilted leg pads, but he knew that my purchase ... it was more for my wife and I ... get used to them quickly). Where possible, I really do not use just yet ... only emphasize ... not much so far!

Excellent home elliptical
Purchased the Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer on Amazon about 18 months ago. As previous reviewers have mentioned, assembly takes about 2 hours. Not easy, but not impossible. I had a service call immediately, as I screwed up the assembly and the first tech took care of two minor issues, and lubed and tweaked the machine. Then about a month after that, another tech came out to take care of some squeaking noises. The trainer comes with two years of service. Well made, heavy unit, quality feel, just like the health club that i used to frequent. The panel looks and feels a little outdated compared to the health club, but it does work as advertised with many programs, and even two user programmable ones. The fan is a joke, so what, install a ceiling fan if you have the height, or a box fan for about $10 at walmart. Nice stride length, solid - smooth feel. heart monitor works great (costs extra with most other machines).

This machine is quiet, smooth and solid. The console is intuitive and easy to read. I find the range of preset workouts to be very useful along with the versatility of setting my own. Some have mentioned that the lowest setting has too much resistance. What? I totally disagree and besides it is an exercise machine. As for assembly being a nightmare or too complicated, nonsense. It just takes some very basic mechanical skills and common sense. If you don't have this, get someone to assemble it for you because this elliptical is too nice to pass up at this price.

I got an F85 Treadmill and the E95 Elliptical at the same time. On both I feel like this was a good value after quite a bit of shopping. This machine took a lot of putting together when coming out of the box. Plan on about 4 hours and there are few little "things" you will come across like goofy directions, missing directions, backward made parts, impossible reach screws, etc. Plus, I messed up and broke a connector wire in the middle of it that I had to splice back together. But I got it together and it is a major machine. I thought the larger flywheel would be necessary. Maybe if I was 20 years old. This thing can absolutely kick my butt set on level 5 and ramp 5. I can not imagine what it would be on 20. I thought that there may be no value in the ramp settings. That is very wrong. You get a totally different leg and hip workout at the various ramp settings. Sole did their research well on the various tilts of the foot and issue with feet going to sleep. The adjustments are hard to make but very helpful and comfortable. Also the soft foot pad prevents slipping. For something better, need less noise on ramp adjustment, need abilty to adjust preprogramed program when in it, need more digital displays.
Excellent "Home Use" elliptical machine!
Excellent machine. It was very easy to put together and only took an hour. The machine moves smoothly and is very enjoyable. It has a very large radius. It has lots of programs, but only two user programs. The fan does not do much of anything, but is a nice touch. The display is bright and very easy to see. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
