Do you have any advice on installing ikea light fixtures?
I'm installing a pendant lamp and the metal mounting bracket isn't wide enough to fit the pre drilled screw holes in the ceiling. Is there a work around? I didn't see any mounting brackets at home depot that resembled the IKEA version.
I know at my local Ikea (New Haven, CT) they have a large area of miscellaneous fittings, screws and other helpful tools. Usually these are free for the customer to help with installing or assembling any Ikea products. I myself have had to visit it before. If you don't have a local store, just call them. Sometimes they can be very helpful over the telephone. Good luck!
