Hunter ceiling fan lights do not work, fan does?
I was replacing my bulbs in the fan, one was working, the second just loose, tightened and it came on, the third, i tried to see if it was loose, and noticed it was blown, but when I moved it, it popped, and the other 2 lights went out. Fan works perfect, took down to check wiring above, no problems. Could it be the sockets all went bad at once????? Pull switch? I use a remote and never touch the switch. any input would be great, thanks!!
I don't believe that the Hunter fans are as good as they once were! We've been having problems with our fan also, and I'm thinking it may be the remote control problem also. The only difference in our problem is that our lights come on randomly! You can go into the room in the afternoon an the light will be on although no one turned it on. We can be sound asleep at 2 AM and the light will come on! Doesn't do it everyday, just enough to be a nuisance. Checked the wiring as you did and everything was fine. Took the battery out of the remote, still would turn itself on! I'm ready to take this Hunter fan down and get something different, that I can control! Hunter has no answers either. Just to replace the fan with another Hunter fan.
( Do they really think we're that stupid? )
