Brain is right. It s how trades make part of their living. Buying at wholesale and selling at retail.If you actually paid for the persons specific time to go and get a discounted item they d have to charge time and travel to get it.You can t just go get it either. Places where they get their stuff won t sell to the public just for this reason. Thats generally the way it is, they have to pay taxes and insurances too .. Now if your in good standing w/ him / her they may give you a break on retail but thats their own discretion GL
